Katie Budge

Katie is an emerging portrait photographer whose growing portfolio of work impressed us as soon as we saw it. We were delighted when she came on board with Sidh Chaillean Art. In this project we asked members of the community to nominate local people who would be considered legendary characters. These local legends were chosen for their community work, dedication to heritage and outstanding craftsmanship. Katie’s unique approach to portraiture has resulted in subtly powerful photographs which bring an important modern perspective to the Legends of Caithness exhibition.
